Rusty Myers’s Summary
Computer Support for the College of Education faculty and staff. Including, but not limited to, OS X Software and hardware including servers, laptops, and desktops. Dreamweaver and OS X seminars introducing or re-enforcing knowledge of the software to the faculty and staff. Bash shell scripting, Apple Scripting, and Automator programing. My experience also extends into 1 to 1 initiatives and large group training sessions. I dabble in the iLife and iWork suite.
I also have an interest in Photography. I have taken over 5,000 photos for the College of Education, some of which have been used in the recent publications.
At the College of Education we also have the opportunity to give internships to South Hills students. I have been in charge of the internships lately and assign work and approve internship reports. We have had as many as 5 interns at once, and it is a very rewarding experience.
My recent projects have included new websites for the College of Education knowledge base with a blog, wiki, and forum.
