Responsible for overall strategic direction, development, and profitability of the Agent and Broker markets within a la mode. My primary job functions include selecting target market segments, understanding the needs of those individuals, determining profitable solutions for those needs, designing and creating the UI and functional specifications for those solutions, managing the development, QA, and project process to build those solutions, and then coordinating release efforts with marketing, sales, documentation writers, and support.

Since its beginnings, a la mode, Inc. (based in Oklahoma City) has focused on desktop software development. Early in 2002 it was decided we should expand our services to include web-based software development. I was hired as a product manager to build a web-based product and development team in our new Salt Lake City office. After understanding the strategic direction and vision for this new venture, I designed and managed the development and release of our first online business software.
