Rush-Copley Medical Center, located in the city of Aurora, is a 193-bed community hospital serving the greater Fox Valley area west of Chicago. The medical center serves a large diverse population and ranks among Illinois’ busiest hospitals with over 60,000 emergency department visits, and more than 4,000 births annually. Clinical highlights include Kane County’s only Level III neonatal intensive care unit, the first Joint Commission certification for mother-baby and neonatal care, a Primary Stroke Center designation from the Joint Commission as well as designation as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center from the American College of Surgeons. The organization also has a satellite campus, Rush-Copley Healthcare Center in nearby Yorkville, Rush-Copley Medical Group, a group of primary and specialty physician practices and Rush-Copley Healthplex, the area’s most comprehensive medically based fitness center.
