Rubem Azenha’s Summary

I'm a software developer with experience and skills in Java\Java EE, developing a lot of applications, such as distributed web and enterprise applications with high performance and scalability requirements. I have experience and knowledge in the main Java API's and frameworks, such as JSF, EJB, Struts, Hibernate, JMS, Spring, JPA, etc.

While I have more experience with Java, I can do a good job with C#, Ruby/Ruby on Rails and others tools. I try to be proficient with any language or platform that my current project need - I try focus on get the things done as best (and as fast) as possible instead being a platform\language fanatic.

I also have strong knowledges in software architecture - working with software architecture is one of the things I most like.

I have strong knowledge in software configuration management (SCM) - I spent some time doing SCM consulting and training.

I also have strong skills with the QlikView BI tool, create BI reports for trade marketing of big companies in a large set of sectors.

I'm currently working as a consultant at DSCON, an Oracle Partner.
