Dr. Todd Stephens, a world-renowned author and speaker, joined AT&T in 1999 as an architect specializing in application and enterprise architecture and later served as senior architect on the enterprise Metadata implementation. Currently, Todd is the Senior Technical Architect of the Collaboration and Online Services team and is responsible for setting the corporate strategy for the development and implementation of collaborative and social software technologies. For the past 25 years, Todd has worked in the Information Technology field including leadership positions at AT&T, BellSouth, Coca-Cola, Georgia-Pacific and Cingular Wireless.
Todd is the author of “Trademark 2.0: Trademark 2.0: Defining Your Value in the Web 2.0 World. This book will discuss several dimensions of building a personal Trademark. Unlike other books on this subject, this book will focus on the “How” an individual can move from local labor to global talent in the new world defined as Enterprise 2.0.
Todd is also the co-author of seven different books focusing on various topics such as Service Oriented Architectures, Open Source, Virtual Environments, and Integrating Web 2.0 Technologies. Between 2003 through 2007, Todd wrote a monthly column in DMReview and has delivered keynotes, tutorials and educational sessions for a wide variety of technology conferences around the world. Having invested more than seven years researching, deploying, and discussing these topics, Todd understands that information has replaced physical assets as the driver of value, leads him to believe that the management of those information-based assets is critical to the future growth of business.
Todd holds degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Columbus State University, an MBA degree from Georgia State University, and graduated with honors with a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University. Todd has been awarded seven U.S. patents in the field of Information Technology.
