Developed Feedback Army, a website usability testing service built on Amazon's Mechanical Turk web service. http://www.feedbackarmy.com
Developed After the Deadline, a software service to add writing improvement tools to website content management systems. Technology includes a contextual spellchecker, misused word detection, and an intelligent style and grammar checker. This multi-disciplinary product uses artificial intelligence, Javascript, PHP, Sleep, and Java. http://www.afterthedeadline.com
After the Deadline was acquired by Automattic, Inc. in July 2009. Feedback Army now operates under its own name.

Software development technical lead for a network security platform, enterprise-scale operations simulation for a network security exercise, and a dependable mobile agent based distributed middleware. Also gave demonstrations, taught workshops, and lectured in the Advanced Course in Engineering. Sold lab technology to operational units in Korea. Awarded 50K in outside funding to pursue network security research and recognized for best demonstration by the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board.

Led crew of six to monitor and respond to incidents on Air Force networks in Europe. Built training program for position. Wrote software as necessary. Recognized as company grade officer of the quarter. Managed help desk, engineering, and training teams in support of mission critical (TBMCS) software used across enterprise-scale network.

Developed software for installation and upgrade of Windchill software. My goal--give customers the best possible upgrade experience without breaking their setup. Encouraged by coworker to improve command of English language by reading up on proper grammar. Yes, I listened to this advice.

System administrator for several BSDi UNIX servers, a Linux box, and a *shudder* NT server. Also maintained a potpourri of terminal servers from various vendors and one happy Cisco router. Hacked together Perl scripts for customer websites, network monitoring, and an early self-service web hosting platform based on chroot jails.
