The National Conservation System Foundation was created to ensure the Bureau of Land Management is able to provide long-term protection for the lands and waters within the National Landscape Conservation System. Our mission is to protect, restore and expand the Conservation System through education, advocacy, and partnerships. I spend much of my time building the capacity of local friends groups, which serve as advocates and volunteers for particular areas of the Conservation System.
