Idea & Innovation Management Advocate
India
I begun my working career as an apprentice Shipbroker in a company selling and chartering ships and was the youngest member of the Shipbroking Community in Kokata .
My awkward and almost accidental entry into the ICT industry begun 25 years back. Since then I have handled Sales, Marketing, Operations, Practice Management, Consulting and Strategy. My work included engaging with global corporations to help them adapt the disciplines of Collaboration, Knowledge Management, e-Business, CRM and Business Process Innovation to realise their transformation objectives. I have worked and travelled across India, U.K., China, U.S.A., Middle East and South Africa.
One common trait which seems to have been a constant companion is a chronic sense of restlessness around status quo, a tendency to challenge it and try new things . I have maintained this scrappy sense of dare, ability to get heard in a crowded world, accept and learn from early failures and gravitate towards my chosen destination. My humble credentials have been bolstered by a few endorsements from my peers, team-mates, seniors and customers and my capabilities fine-tuned with their timely counsel and feedback.
I am eager to engage by
1. Providing advisory/ consulting Engagements to interested organizations to articulate a Roadmap and demonstrate the ROI of Idea and Innovation Management in their context.
2. Conducting Executive Workshops that results in consensus around the need for Idea Management and the next steps involved
3. Working closely with your Innovation and Customer facing teams to help them win in the marketplace through Customer/Partner Co-creation

Aikon offers a platform for Idea Management & Execution for Enterprises and communities which enables it to tap the wisdom of its communities through ideas from its members/associates, customers and partners. By leveraging social networking, analytics, collaboration and execution tools it helps the enterprise take these ideas through a stage-gating process, dovetailed with community validation and enterprise selection criteria, to prototyping and execution. Lastly, it helps enterprises to translate the "rhetoric" around innovation to "action" through realization of products and solutions.
A public version of this platform can be viewed on www.planetaikon.com
