In April 2009 I will be taking up the role of Business Development Manager (Faculty of 1000) with Medicine Reports Ltd. (a Science Navigation Company) in London.
Life scientist with a special interest in determining how protein and nucleic acid structure creates function. Experience in cell and molecular biology, X-Ray crystallography and NMR, protein chemistry, bioinformatics and microarrays.
I write short fiction and poetry, have a novel on the go and keep two popular weblogs (http://blogs.usyd.edu.au/labrats/ and http://network.nature.com/people/rpg/blog). My long term ambition is to use my professional experience and excellent communication skills for the benefit of the public.
