Strategic Planner / Social Community Manager
Greater Atlanta Area
I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2004 with two Wi-Fi marketing internships, a Marketing degree and a New Media certificate under my belt.
I went into advertising as an Account Executive on the Texas Instruments account at JWT's Communications, Entertainment and Technology Practice and after three years was pulled into the Strategic Planning department. With that position I did a lot of research and brief writing as well as reviewing reports and presentations and overseeing the general communications strategy on several accounts, including TI, Nokia, CDW, Brother Printers, and Blue Coat Systems. I also assisted with projects for Rolex, Randstad and BMC Software in addition to assisting in several new business pitches. That position heavily focused much of my time on my strengths, interactive projects, helping to keep my office and clients up to speed on the rapidly changing interactive and social media environment and provide new, cool ideas.
Due to my hard work, dedication and display of knowledge in the social media and interactive development space, I was given the title of Social Community Manager for the agency, building an extremely successful social media outreach strategy from the ground up and being the go-to guy for any social media strategy .
