Roz Savage’s Summary
In 2005 she rowed - alone - 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean. Now Roz Savage intends to become the first woman to row solo across the Pacific. In 2008 she completed Stage 1, becoming the first woman ever to row solo from California to Hawaii. Stage 2 launches in Spring 2009.
Roz worked for 11 years as a management consultant before trading in her London career for a life on the ocean, seeking personal fulfilment through voyages of exploration.
She uses her adventures to raise awareness of environmental issues and inspire others to rise to their own challenges - no matter how big or daunting those challenges may seem.
