I'm interested in creating the next-generation of web apps.
Prior to college, I taught myself HTML and created personal web sites for fun. In 2006, I was awarded second place in the nation for web development at the AITP National Collegiate Conference. Since then, I've worked on a Department of Defense web application using AJAX and J2EE technologies.
I enjoy keeping abreast of current web technologies and look forward to participating in the evolution of the Internet.
Standards-compliant HTML, pure-CSS layouts, AJAX, Java, .NET

Pioneered use of JQuery in the Electronic & Card Applications department; developed AJAX-based webpages, including:
-A paging table report to efficiently filter through thousands of records. Users may specify criteria to adjust the report's scope and get feedback quickly, without a page refresh.
-An inline charting solution to communicate trends. Features export to Excel, asynchronous chart refreshing based on user parameters.
-A tool to monitor status of remote kiosks. Consists of tables, forms, and a summary page. Uses AJAX for validation, form submission, and kiosk monitoring.
Developed graphics for these applications using PhotoShop, GIMP, and open-source image libraries. All AJAX pages are cross-browser compatible and under 100k in size.
