First Tuesday was launched in the Alphabet Bar in London bang in the middle of the dot com boom. The idea was to introduce people with ideas to people with money in an informal setting over a few drinks. After attending one of the first gatherings Ross and Ian Gardiner, decided to emulate the idea in Scotland and joined forces with the London-founders. Within 6 months, over 100 cities across the world were also holding events. We sold out just before the "bubble burst" and Ian moved to Australia.
Good timing.

During my time at Kwik-Fit I identified a need for an online tyre service for those time-pressured service seekers who could not afford the time to visit their local garage. www.blackcircles.com was created after an initial launch as onlinetyrestore.com and has grown from strength to strength.
After developing the concept, the brand and launching the company Mike Welch, a former employee at Kwik-Fit, was brought in to run the company and is currently still in this position.
