I'm a communications consultant and author of four books, including Writing and Editing the Internal Publication and Barbecue Secrets DELUXE!

My goals are:

- to build my communications consulting practice with an emphasis on crisis communications, employee engagement and business applications of social media;

- to continue my life's work as a barbecue evangelist, promoting my cookbook and line of barbecue sauces and relaunching my Barbecue Secrets podcast; and

- to combine my passion for business communications with my love of barbecue through speaking engagements and barbecue teambuilding workshops.

In 2007 I was a guest keynote speaker at the Public Relations Summit in Melbourne, Australia and in 2009 I delivered my luncheon speech/cooking demonstration entitled "Everything I Know About Employee Communication, I Learned From Barbecue" to a group of business communicators in Houston, Texas.
