Ron Goch founded The Telios Group in 2003, and is President/CEO of the Utah-based sports marketing, consulting and training firm.
Ron has extensive experience working in the sports business industry, investing over 20 years in collegiate and professional sports.
Prior to forming The Telios Group, Ron worked with the NBA/WNBA for four years serving as a vice president of business operations for the Utah WNBA franchise, and as a marketing and business consultant for the NBA/WNBA.
Ron has also worked in a variety of college athletics administration positions at Tennessee, Utah, Washington and Winona State. He worked one year with the U.S. Ski Team, has worked 10 AT&T Cotton Bowls, and served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Tennessee.
Ron is a member of the American Marketing Association and the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators, and was a founding member of the Society for Advancement of Consulting.
Ron's involved in the community, serving on the South Jordan Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and having served on boards for the Boys & Girls Clubs, the Ronald McDonald House, and Special Olympics Utah. Ron also speaks frequently on sports business and marketing.
Ron has received several honors from the College Sports Information Directors of America, including two “Best in the Nation” citations for media guides, and is the first-ever Winona State University student to receive the Minnesota Press Club’s “Edward P. Schwartz Memorial Scholarship,” awarded annually to a Minnesota college journalism student.
Ron is active in his children's school and activities, enjoys reading, family vacations, and writing. An avid runner, Ron successfully completed the 2006 Salt Lake City Marathon and the 2008 Whidbey Island Half Marathon.
Ron resides in South Jordan, Utah with his wife Susie and their three children.
