Experience includes a focus on: leadership, recruiting, employee relations, organizational development, executive coaching, team development, retention, onboarding, compensation strategy, employee records, staff development, change management, succession planning and career coaching. Early career roles in operations and technology management provided a strong foundation of people, project, process improvement and vendor management skills.
Recently, led the efforts to develop an employee referral program that has created significant business impact. Organizational expenses have been reduced by 40+% while retention and manager satisfaction have improved. Employee referrals as a source of hire have improved from 29 to 78% in three years, while search firm utilization has decreased from 27 to 2%. AmTrust Bank has received local and national recognition for these efforts, winning the ERC NorthCoast99 Recruitment and Selection award and the 2008 ERE Recruiting Excellence Award for Most Innovative Employee Referral Program. An article that I wrote about the AmTrust employee referral program was published in the May 2008 issue of the ERE "Journal of Corporate Recruiting Leadership."
