Ronald Lewis, 29, is a technologist (cloud computing, open source software), Internet personality, aspiring inspirational speaker, activist, author ("Stick It To The Man", Skyhorse, June 2009) and entrepreneur. He has spent nearly 20 years advising individuals and businesses on technology, researching ideas to improve human relations, volunteering to assist the poor and other causes, and publicly opposing unconstitutional U.S. Government policies, concepts, laws and entities. His 'lifestyle themes' are "Making a difference" and "Bringing people together".
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Lewis has called Nashville, Calgary and Denver "home" for more than eight years. A self-described 'non-conformist', he often espouses labels and categories in favor of living a life that is free of social constraints which inhibit one's full potential. His love for technology, journalism, writing, business, activism, travel and more is seen and read by thousands of people each month via his web site and other interests.
Lewis has always challenged himself to think and perform creatively in his life. More than 16 years ago, he demonstrated his ability of commanding the attention, respect and admiration of high-profile individuals including Bill Gates, J.B. Hunt, Donald Schneider and Michael McDonald. Further, he also discovered a passion for interviewing people, securing unique and inspiring conversations with Carnegie Mellon's Dr. David Farber, Universal Motown's Kem, Craigslist's Craig Newmark, American Airlines' Kent Wien, Southwest Airlines' Linda Rutherford and many others.
Lewis has been featured or quoted in the media by ABC, CNN, BusinessWeek, The Associated Press, The Detroit News, Denver Post, Rocky Mountain News, Nashville Business Journal, Startup Story Radio, Boulder County Business Report, TechCrunch, TechCrunch UK, FastCompany, NewTeeVee and others for more than 13 years.
