I have more than 30 years of development and management experience in the personal computer industry, starting with the Wang 1100 and Commodor CBM systems. I'm the principal consultant of OakLeaf Systems and the author of 30+ books on Microsoft operating systems (Windows NT and 2000 Server), databases (SQL Server and Access), .NET data access, Web services and InfoPath 2003. The books have more than 1.25 million English copies in print and have been translated into 20+ languages. My latest books are "Special Edition Using Microsoft Office Access 2007" for QUE and "Expert One-on-One Visual Basic 2005 Database Programming" for WROX. I'm also a contributing editor for 1105 Media's Visual Studio Magazine and write for their .NETInsight newsletter. OakLeaf's Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Web service won the Microsoft .NET Best award for XML Web service solutions.
