As the Designer I establish a vision and then lead a team to complete the job successfully. I am the one focused on design details and quality control of the final "LOOK" on screen. "The Buck Stops Here" and I embrace that responsibility. It is my job to listen to the input from others, the needs of the project and desires of the client. My ultimate responsibility is to the final product, but diplomacy amongst the Team & Client is vital.
• I am the Designer that imagines things unseen & asks "why not?"
• I am the Architect that creates the plan & delivers the "blueprint".
• I am the General Contractor that supervises & gets the job done.
• I am the Artist or Painter who splashes on the color & adds the flair.
• I am the Interior Decorator who makes the environment come to life.
• I am the Coordinator who delivers the work on time & on budget…
• I am the Production Designer / Art Director for the job.

With over 25 years of professional experience to my credit in Hollywood, I bring to the table a solid and unique background as one who has focused all his academic and professional endeavors in one area of expertise, that of Production Design. As an Art Director of note, in a field of many, I have strived to bring production value to the screen on every project I am associated with. I have received two Emmy Awards for my work, in recognition from my peers for a job well done.
As a Production Designer / Art Director it is my responsibility to translate my client's vision into a real world environment/set that captures the "theme" or essence of the "story" as in a film and/or television program or in the "product branding" as in a commercial or DVD/Video. It is my job to understand the target audience, interpret the message being sent and communicate that message visually through my designs.
