Gerente General at Hess y Röttges Marketing Solutions Ltda.
Chile
I started my career in as a Quality Manager in a Dental Trading company in Germany, before I moved to General Electric as a Black Belt in the early days of Six Sigma. Later I became Master Black Belt and Quality Leader in a GE Medical Business. I then needed a career change and joint my former GE colleague Robin Davies to start Venturehaus in London. Starting in the attic of Robin’s house only 5 years later VH is now a well established Consulting Firm specialising in Operational Excellence for Financial Services.
In 2006 my wife and I decided to move to Chile and develop her already existing Webdesign Business. We kept providing services to our existing customers in Europe whilst developing the Chilean market. In our second year we could already secure customers like El Mercurio and the credit insurer Continental.
In 2008 I started Interactivar together with Stefan Urlaub another German national, living in Santiago. We specialise in the development of Web Portals and Communities. In our first year we already implemented www.direcmin.com a web directory with more than 2500 suppliers of the Chilean Mining Industry, www.direcmed.cl a portal with more than 1000 suppliers for the Chilean Health Sector, a few hundred Chilean hospitals and clinics and more than 8000 doctors. Another successful website is Unterkunft-in-chile.de with short term apartments and furnished rooms in Santiago, Valparaiso and Vina del Mar. And there is more to come…
