Author Rodney Vance was born in Niles, Michigan and he published his first story in a nationally-known magazine (Guide Magazine) at only 11 yo. He went on to receive an M.A. in Religion (Andrews University) and an M.F.A. in Theater/Playwrighting (The Catholic University of America). He has worked as a college chaplain, a professor, head writer on two multi-award-winning television series (Lifestyle Magazine, The Evidence), sold two screenplays, written seven produced stage plays one of which (Token) won the Edward Albee Int'l Playwrighting Competition, and published a children's book ("De'Monte Love" see Amazon.com). As a writer, he is highly skilled and creative with both original and adapted material. His work reveals a profound knowledge of story structure, complex characterizations, and an ability to take you to another time and place, fearlessly pushing the boundaries of story. Rodney is a member of the Writers Guild of America-West, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Dramatist's Guild, and listed in Who's Who in America 2008.
