• Strong Viral and WOM marketing background.
• Recent experience includes everything from full marketing campaign for large social networking site to one-time press releases for small developer-based geek communities.
• Well connected. I am in almost a dozen private, invite-only groups, that are made up of some of the most influential people on the net. (CEOs, bloggers, PR execs, writers, speakers, authors and vlog/podcasters)
I’ve been involved with collaborative and ‘social’ sites since the late 90s. Much of my PR/marketing consulting is topically focused towards the online market. I have advised small businesses and Fortune 50 companies on Web 2.0, Social Networking, VoIP, Video Games, Emerging Technology, the Blogosphere and Youth Marketing.
• I am a prolific member of these sites: Digg.com, Del.icio.us, 43Things, MySpace, Flickr, Orkut (Google’s invite only social site), TagWorld, Mooble, LinkedIN and more
• I design CSS/HTML sites based on web standards. I believe making the user’s site experience almost seemless and natural, habitual, is vital to the success of any site.
• I write on social networking and Web 2.0 at my site sleepyblogger.com, in addition to writing on marketing, advertising and the video games industry on 3 blog networks.
• I have a popular podcast in iTunes (#1 in terms of popularity for 'social networking' and a video games/technology vidcast that also appears on YouTube (50K+ views), Revver, Vimeo and Blip.tv.
• I’ve helped many bloggers make the leap from hobby blogger to full-time blogger. I’ve managed a blog network of 15 bloggers, consulted on the development of another PR blog network, and I’ve written for 5 blog networks thus far. Recently my firm launched Problogwriters.com, a forum for aspiring professional bloggers.
Most of my clients come for social media consulting (vlogging, social bookmarking, blogging, etc.), but I have a wide variety of experience with web commerce.
• CSS, light JavaScript, HTML (XHTML), light PHP, SEO copywriting.
• Experience with Google Adsense/AdWords, YPN, AdBrite, BlogAds, direct site advertising buys and affiliate marketing.
• Experienced in writing feature articles, essays, editorial pieces, press releases, political talking points, and creative print/radio ad copy.

My main goal is to help people find out what the Intel Software Network is doing. The people there are amazing and their contribution is substantial. They just need a small amount of help being seen and that's where I come in. I help them find the conversation that is relevant to their work and assist them in communicating with developers, innovators and general geeks. You couldn't ask for a better job.

I managed a number of blogs and wrote on the RSS blog, the podcasting blog, and 5 other blogs regularly. The RSS blog won an award while I managed/wrote it and the blog was included in the index on TechMeme.
I wrote much of the text on the static pages at RSSApplied.com, PodcastPublishing.com and many others, as it was one of my primary jobs. I also laid out simple blogs and websites for clients.
I managed more than a dozen bloggers. Duties included finding them, training them, proofing their work for quality and mistakes and training them in proper SEO, including niche SEO for their industry. Our group included blogs on diverse topics (from real estate to music piracy, from credit cards to financial blogs).

Concerned Women for America is the largest public policy women's organization in America. I served on the steering committee when I lived in GA and when I moved to VA I served on the steering committee for this state as well. My initial position was as newsletter editor, as my design work and writing lended towards this position, however, the media coordinator position came available I gradually transitioned into it. I wrote many press releases, kept the state website up to date, wrote and edited position papers, talking points and spoke on the radio defending CWA of VA's positions.
I represented CWA of VA locally and lobbied at the state house several times. My duties on the steering committee included organizational skills and general position planning. I learned a great deal in my years working with CWA of VA and I have great respect for the women and men leading the organization, especially at the state level.

Mooble was a flash-based social networking startup based in Europe. I served as the marketing director for a short time. In that time I instated a vidcast, made connections with bloggers/podcasters, bought online advertising and set up several high-level partnerships with other online companies.
I wrote the Mooble blog, that at one time, had a popular vidcast in iTunes and 'owned' several competitive key phrases in Google.
