Robin Boldon’s Summary

Robin's main experience is in the management of complex digital media solutions by combining traditional broadcast disciplines with a greater understanding of emerging new-media technologies. The natural convergence of these disciplines and commercial experience has led to an in-depth understanding of Broadband Networks, Content Management Systems, Streaming Media and Digital Rights Management.

Most recently Robin has been instrumental in the development of an enterprise platform to create, manage, repurpose and deliver digital masters of programming content to any location and on any platform. This is destined to be adopted across the commercial operations of the BBC, namely BBC Worldwide Ltd.

Prior to joining the BBC in 2001 Robin was a Senior Producer with Edison Interactive, responsible for delivering live streaming of several major music festivals including V2000, CreamFields and T in the Park.
