As a post-doctoral fellow in the department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, I am carrying out research in spoken word recognition. Specifically, I am investigating how the brain translates an acoustic signal into meaningful utterances, both in normal-hearing and hearing-impaired listeners, including listeners with cochlear implants.
