In this role, I manage a team responsible for integrating solutions-based technical proposals for Automatic Train Control systems around the World. As part of business development organization, our group develops customer proposals and responds to client data requests. We work closely with Engineering and Project Management teams to develop comprehensive proposal technical/commercial solution that meets customer needs, and internal organization quality standards and financial hurdles. We compile estimates and other technical data as needed to facilitate internal risk review process and subsequent commercial offerings to client.

In this role I manage and mentor other proposal managers and facilitate resources from other contributing groups. As a driver and advocate for proposal process and associated deliverables, I strive to optimize and improve the proposal process via development of standardized tools and templates.

In charge of training, mentoring and leading project control staff in the planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of projects of varying contract type, size, complexity and levels of risk.

As Project Management process owner for the entire organization, made sure the tools and processes are always up to date and that best practices are implemented.

Responsible for organization and execution of a $2.9 Billion rolling stock project for design and manufacturing of 1.662 subway cars for MTA New York City Transit.

In charge of day-to-day work coordination of Project Core Team and functional interfaces, deputizing for the Project Manager at various meetings, with delegated decision-making authority.

Managed to build and maintain successful interfaces with industrial partner (major competitor on US market) as well as five ALSTOM participating industrial units in Brazil, Canada and France. Led number of cross-functional Teams in various subprojects achieving direct project savings in excess of $6.5 Million. Developed tools and processes to streamline Project administrative tasks, established Project specific monitoring and reporting tools automating the process and decreasing level of effort.

Established very good working relationship with the Industrial Business Unit greatly improving all projects margins (up to 20%) while maintaining (or improving) quality of products delivered. Major projects include self-discharging coal wagons for Deutche Bahn A.G., cisterns for VTG and On-Rail, as well as new product development of double-deck car transportation wagons for Transwaggon (for Mercedes Benz).

Prior to that held various managerial positions related Project Management and Project Controls.

Design, manufacturing, delivery, installation and commissioning of a new signaling system for Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) under the supervision of the Department of Rapid Transit Systems (DORTS). This project involves complex integration of subsystems provided by different organizations from around Asia Pacific, USA and UK.
