Robert Almeida’s Summary
Dr. Almeida is a chiropractor from New England and is currently the president of two chiropractic facilities: Metropolitan Chiropractic and Almeida Chiropractic, both in the state of Massachusetts. Dr. Robert Almeida graduated from Mount Saint Charles Academy in Rhode Island, class of 1985. In college, he initially studied business and economics. He graduated as part of the Class of 1989 from the University of Connecticut with a degree in economics, but upon graduating, he decided to pursue a career as a chiropractor.
After graduation, Dr. Almeida relocated to California to pursue his D.C. and attended several chiropractic schools to achieve this end. He finished chiropractic school in 1994 when he graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles. After taking several entry-level positions in California and Arizona, Dr. Almeida moved back to the east coast where he was offered a job at Morella Chiropractic as a physician, and eventually accepted a position as the director of the Attleboro Clinic and chief of staff at a total of five clinic locations.
Dr. Almeida concurrently served as the host of a radio show entitled “Trauma Talk” at WARA radio in Attleboro, Massachusetts. He left the show in 1997 and left Morella in 1998 to attend the National Chiropractic College in Lombard, Illinois where, from 1999 to 2000, he completed an Association Sports Physician Program. In 2000, Dr. Almeida attended the Spine Research Institute in Spring Valley, California to receive his Whiplash Masters Certificate. By March of 2000, he was Board certified in four states: California, Massachusetts, Arizona, and Rhode Island. Today, he is the President of Metropolitan Chiropractic, Inc. in Revere, Massachusetts, which he founded in 2006. He is also the president of Almeida Chiropractic in Attleboro, Massachusetts, which was started in 1999. In his spare time, Dr. Almeida enjoys spending time with his two children.
