Rob's passion for communication and marketing has driven much of his professional development. "I remember at school," he says "while other kids were on the sports field trying out for the soccer team, I'd be in the library reading about languages, human behaviour, the art of writing... anything I could find about how people communicate and how we react to communication." Later, having learnt the ropes of business as a consultant to some of the biggest and best known organisations around the world, he put himself through an MBA and the Chartered Institute of Marketing's Professional Postgraduate Diploma.
That same passion still informs his business decisions, whether transforming organisations and individuals (through Solution Academy), or helping professionals to market themselves and their organisation (through Motivational Selling).
For Rob, excellence is the measure of personal success; identifying and transforming strengths into assets to set you apart from peers and competitors. “It's as much work turning something below-par into something slightly above average,” he says “as it is to turn something strong into something truly superb.
