Robb Fladry’s Summary
Robb Fladry is a new media artist working with kinetic images in a variety of ways, including installation, performance and live video improvisation. Fladry has been called “one of the most prominent up and coming artists out of the Tennessee area,” and his work recently was featured in the Frist Center for the Visual Arts exhibit Future/Now in Nashville. His video work has been included in the Perpetual Art Machine in New York City and the BEA Festival for Media Arts in Las Vegas. Fladry holds a B.F.A. in Studio Arts from Austin Peay State University and an M.A. in Communication Arts from the same institution. He is currently pursuing an M.F.A. in Electronic Media at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
