I concentrate on what's in it for the customer by combining my technical experience with an understanding of business and customer service. The end results are needs driven solutions customized for each individual customer.

My first IT consulting job with American Management Systems was on a business process reengineering project where we were working with the Kansas Department of Revenue to transform them from a non-responsive bureaucracy in to a customer service oriented organization. All of the consultants were expected to be business analysts first and IT workers second. That mindset has stayed with me and colors every customer interaction I have.
