Career and personal highlights:

Ran the quarter mile in 52.7 seconds during the mile relay in the NJ state track championships, 1987. Career best in the 100 yard dash, 11.6 seconds.

Jumped out of a helicopter at 200 feet during my stint in the Army. Honorably discharged in 9/89, three months short of being sent to the Panama conflict.

DJ/Bartender at The Pyramid in NYC's East Village during the Tomkins Sq. riots

Worked at one of the earliest music/social websites, sonicnet.com while it was still a BBS.

Interviewed many of my favorite artists and musicians: Wolfgang Press, Kitchens of Distinction, David Bowie, Pat Metheny, Jesus Lizard, Iggy Pop, Bill Laswell, Nick Cave, J Mascis, Sonic Youth, Lida Husik, Shrimpboat and too many others to mention.

Booked and produced the 1998 SXSW party for CDNOW featuring Sonic Youth. A party that began the trend of private, non-affiliated SXSW parties.

Helped create the first cooperative advertising program for a web-based music store and other pioneering advertising vehicles such as package inserts in web-fulfilled shopping orders, targeted email ads based on purchasing preferences and several other revenue generating programs.

Upon joining Big Daddy Music Distribution, instituted a one year plan to identify and improve areas of service so company could be nominated and win the award for Distirbutor of the Year by retail trade group NARM and resulted in winning the award in 2002.

Maintaining sanity living on Long Island, a cultural wasteland for a person in my career path.

Helping IODA grow from a small digital distributor in a field of much larger competitors to one of the world's leading digital brands by attracting and managing a group of clients that generate a sizable portion of the company's revenue in both download and mobile sales.
