If there’s one word I can share about this process of delivering value to the customer, it is “overcommunicate”. As a user advocate with that goal in mind, I have always believed in identifying the audience, crafting the right message for that audience, and evangelizing the consistency of that message across the communication vehicles of the brand. For me, it's all about developing, augmenting and maintaining a satisfying customer experience whether online, offline or in person.
When executed well at the outset, the job of communicating the brand becomes an easy one because it doesn’t cause endless revisions of documentation, numerous change requests, lost sales or burned-out project managers. I do my best to raise awareness of "information architecture" - customer communications from a high-level approach - as a function that must be considered early in all process flows.
Additionally, a company that considers how information is packaged as an integral part of its executive strategy is a company I know I want to work for.
