I'm a "gadget guy" who has watched and experienced the consumer electronics industry evolve from shellac-based 78's to the indescribable. I have developed a good understanding of high-end residential control systems including the associated audio-video portions. I have also developed good relationships with the key implementers of these systems, as well as those who manufacture and distribute these types of products and systems.

Audio Engineering 1972 — 1974
This San Francisco based program was located in a recording studio, Golden State Recorders. This was at the tail end of the "San Francisco Sound" era and it allowed me to go on and establish Quail Court Recorders in Walnut Creek, California. I was in the initial class and ended up doing very well. It provided an exceptional foundation for my evolving career in audio and control technologies.
