Lan, Wan, Wireless and Voip management in a 30 branches environment, equipped with about 300 Cisco switches/routers/APs. University of Trento is a mid-size campus with 15000 students and 1200 employees.
Main work is maintaining the campus data connectivity through all kind of Cisco platforms from 6500 to 2900 switches and from 7500 and 7200vxr to 2800 routers and voice over ip infrastructure based on Cisco Call Manager 4. Other managed platforms are Wireless Lan Controllers Wism, Juniper Firewalls SSG550 and Netscreen 204, Allot Traffic shapers.
Secondary work is administering Linux Systems on Linux Red Hat Enterprise and CentOs platforms, I manage directly the following services: Squid Proxy, Apache, OpenLdap (db with about 10000 users) and FreeRadius architecture (radius and proxy radius), MySql databases and Linux HA systems (heartbeat), Horde webmail.
I monitor performances and availability through Ipswitch Whatsup and Nagios, RRD tools and trouble ticket system with LanDesk.
