The hottest Latin Jazz Band to hit the Market! Ritmo Masacote is a 10 piece Latin jazz band that fuses different musical styles ranging from Bebop to Spoken Word to Smooth Jazz into an intoxicating Latin flavor.
Its sound is a mix of high tempo and upbeat Salsa to smooth, melodic Latin Jazz. Ritmo Masacote performs original scores with highly percussive songs and infectious rhythms.
They made their much anticipated debut in May 2006 when it released its first album "MASACOTE," to rave reviews. Its versatility has made it a crowd pleaser from the salsa club setting to festivals to intimate gatherings.
Moreover, the band has become quite popular for being coupled in special stage appearances with the company's dancers (Masacote Dance Company), an internationally renowned group of dancers known for their breathtaking performances and visually stunning choreographies.
In 2008, it released its 2nd album titled "Fantagious" in a 2-hour sit down theater production. -
