For Rita Kerins Rogala, real estate runs in the family. A native Chicagoan, she grew up as the daughter of a Chicago real estate developer, and learned more about the many neighborhoods of the city than most residents do in their lifetime.
In 2003, she joined a Loop Development company as the Project Manager for the construction of a 170-unit high-rise building. There she found she really enjoyed the challenge of selling a property. But her start as a realtor came in February 2004. “My dad was a developer and l lived in one of his buildings. People would come by and ask questions about the building. I sold two out of six units. That is when I realized I love it!!”
Joining @properties was a simple decision. As Chicago’s fastest growing real estate brokerage firm, they have a “next-generation” approach to real estate – continually raising the bar on service, professionalism and performance. This was the ideal company culture Rita was looking for. And she quickly excelled, joining the ranks of Chicago’s top 2% of agents in only four years.
Rita balances the tech-savvy skills needed to buy and sell a house in today’s economy, with the personal connection of seeing her clients from the start of their journey, all the way to the closing table. But in her eyes, technology is simply a tool. "I hope we remember to always keep the personal contact with our clients. I think that is why we have this job and why computers can never take it over. When the personal touch is gone, so are we.”
"Rita's vast knowledge of real estate and the city neighborhoods was incredibly helpful for a person like me, a first-time homebuyer, that didn't know where to begin looking. She always answered my phone calls, so this made me trust her right from the beginning. I'll always recommend Rita Kerins to all of my friends and co-workers, & will ask her to be my agent whenever I go to sell my property and buy my next place. She's that good!"
