He was born and brought up in Newport, spent time in commercial real estate in New York before returning to become a Rhode Island realtor initially based in Providence and then in Newport County, where he now lives.
David Enstone, a local businessman and entrepreneur based in Jamestown, RI, is the other principal business partner. He is British by origin having moved to the USA in 1993 with a background in senior company management and most recently in major corporate turnarounds.
