Lead Creative Developer at AKQA
London, United Kingdom
In 2007 I was responsible for managing a team of Flash developers and delivering the Fiat.co.uk showroom site.
I also presented future insight & innovation to our clients and internally on a number of subjects ranging from social network platform development and planning, Social Media & blogging, Joost advertising, online video & widget platforms and distribution models.
Most of my time is spent generating ideas, scoping and architecting of RIA solutions for global brand sites, across mobile and the internet. I specialize in managing large teams of Flash developers, in a similar vein to a Technical Manager, but specifically concerned with client-side interfaces and interactions. Clients include: Fiat (recently re-launched www.fiat.co.uk), Nike, Coca-cola, Xbox, Microsoft, Orange and Sainsburys.
AKQA recently recieved the Flash Forward 2006 Rich Internet Application award for the Orange Phone Trainer application. The development project was led by myself with the help of Emmanuel Oykere and Tristan Celder.
As well as the above, I also consult and advise on new and emerging digital trends, from internetTV to Social Media & Social Networking; from Installation Experiences to emerging Micro Media.
