Rick Weaver’s Summary

An accomplished business executive with a wealth of experience in retail, market analysis, supply chain enhancement, project management, team building, and process improvement, my career began as a stock clerk. I worked myself up to Director of Vendor Development at Kmart Corporation during its heyday working with hundreds of suppliers to improve mutual processes, procedures, and profits.

Amazed at the untapped talent found at all levels of each company I decided to focus on developing programs to draw out the hidden abilities within each person. In 2002, I founded MaxImpact to use my vast experience to connect individuals to their dreams and teams connect to a shared vision.

Experiences taught me the importance of cultural recognition as the conduit through which change and progress is made possible. In 2005 MBC Global was spun-off as the cultural arm of Max Impact. Today MBC Global addresses more than 22 cultural distinctions to provide the foundation of all their leadership and organizational development programs.

Author

My published articles include “Are You Tired of Hiring Other People’s Rejects”, “You’re Not Running a Vineyard So Stop Your Whining”, “Preventing Employee Wipe-Outs”, and “Why We Have So Many Problem People”. Each article takes a positive approach at maximizing individual and organizational results.

His first book, Life’s Leadership Lessons, is a blend of real-life stories where people, events, and things have provided insight into outstanding leadership.

Speaker

As a speaker I blend humor, real life examples, and easy to implement ideas making me a popular at seminars, workshops, and conferences in 43 states, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

My topics include Learning from Life, Overcoming Life’s Disappointments, Making an Impact, Finding Balance, and Managing Builder’s Boomers, Xs, and Ys without Losing Your Zs. I regularly present professional development workshops at businesses and organizations.

Rick Weaver’s Specialties:

I work with organizations to connect multicultural teams to a shared vision.

Many times this includes developing a strategy to reach employees, customers, and suppliers based on cultures, including generational, ethnic, religious, and other cultural distinctions.

A good referral for me is anyone frustrated that emerging populations are not doing business them or a leader discouraged by a disconnect between employee efforts and organizational goals.
