A former CTO of Citrix's Virtualization Systems Group, Mr. Braddy was responsible for technology and business strategy, product architecture, IP for Citrix's applicaton delivery software for Windows applications and virtual Windows desktops.
Prior to becoming CTO, he served in Product Line Executive and VP, Product Management and Product Marketing roles.
With over 25 years of high-tech marketing, sales and technology experience, he previously held key positions at BMC Software, including group architect for eBusiness Solutions where he defined, built, and supported leading-edge service-level management solutions for managing Internet, application server, middleware, CRM and ERP systems, and developing database administration tools for Oracle and SQL-Server. Mr. Braddy is an inventor and hold patents on web load-balancing, fault-tolerant systems & Internet management tools, with numerous others pending.
Prior to BMC, Mr. Braddy was an independent consultant specializing in process control software. In 1986, as founder and CEO of Pioneering Controls Technologies, Mr. Braddy brought the first Unix-based process control software to market in the oil and gas, food processing, and manufacturing industries.
Mr. Braddy spent the late 1970's in the United States Air Force, where he specialized in top-secret cryptographic systems. Mr. Braddy graduated from the US Air Force Cryptographic School with honors in 1977.
