I was a programmer and video editor for the GVOX Guitar Interface and educational software which have won awards and the core technology we developed is world-class. We used Lingo and Director for the UI Creation. This system was revolutionary as it provided a way for guitarist to transcribe directly from their instrument to the computer. We also created learning software to accompany, “Riffs” and “Chords” & various titles highlighting specific artists in the Sony catalog such as “Beatles”, “Police”, “BB King” and “James Taylor”. Fender Musical Instruments endorsed the Gvox Guitar system and began to distribute. Fender even made special screws for mounting the Gvox system that was standard on all Fender guitars.
I was also lead developer for Entertainment Systems Technology developing the FunPad. The free-to-use device is a cross between a wireless public-access kiosk, a restaurant menu and a toy for future Jackson Pollocks who look at a restaurant table and see a canvas. It features a 8-inch touch-navigation screen and rubberized hand grips that vibrate for heightened affect. It also has two high-fidelity speakers, a joystick and game buttons, a video/still camera, a monochrome printer and–most importantly–a credit card reader for online purchases.
I was founder of “Icon Media Inc.” catering to the Automotive After-Market Industry creating various printed collateral and marketing pieces.
I have created Interactive CD-ROM titles for Yamaha creating the product configurator - the “Build Your Own” Royal Star CD-ROM.
I worked for Atomic Curve/BrandDoozie as Flash Developer, Senior Programmer and then advancing to Vice President of New Technologies. I developed several RIA’s, widgets and specialized in UI Experience design & programming. I also led custom component development, on-demand publishing solutions, CMS, brand management and automating graphic production work flows. Featured projects were www.branddoozie.com & www.atomiccurve.com.

Because the projects were Risky projects with dynamic requirements I utilized many third party and open source techniques to set up an Agile Development process. By doing so - the projects experienced greater success and developer productivity.

Lead developer for Entertainment Systems Technology developing entertainment software the FunPad. The free-to-use device is a cross between a wireless public-access kiosk, a restaurant menu and a toy for future Jackson Pollocks who look at a restaurant table and see a canvas. I completely redesigned the architecture to use Adobe Director as the client utilizing Flash & Shockwave based content instead of a Web Browser client utilizing Flash & Shockwave based content. By doing so it increased the speed and functionality of the FunPad by 75%. It also reduced the amount of system requirements needed to support the entertainment software.
