Richard is an international business development consultant, serial entrepreneur, philanthropist, investor and financial advisor. He has built, led, and sustained multicultural organizations influencing 70 nationalities. He served as Student Body President of BYU-Hawaii, co-founded Working World, Inc. – an international micro-venture mentor capital company; created a joint-venture cashmere export company in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia; and created a joint-venture inflatable bouncer company in Apia, Samoa.

He is Founder & President of Global Consulting Circle - an international business development company.

Richie does consulting for Stephen M.R. Covey at CoveyLink for Covey's new book and leadership trainings Speed of Trust.

He is co-founder and partner of Hands to the World, Inc. - a technology company based in New York serving the Global Commercial Microfinance Industry.

Richie is a 2005 ChangeAid Award Winner for demonstrating outstanding commitment and accomplishment in the fields of international development, international relations, humanitarian aid and academic achievement in these fields (i.e. other 2005 award winners include President James Earl Carter, Jr., Secretary William S. Cohen, Amy Grant). He is published in the Journal of Microfinance, 2005.

Richie was instrumental in assisting with the establishment of the Mark & Laura Willes Center for International Entrepreneurship at BYU-Hawaii and serves on the CIE's Mentor Venture Capital Board.

Richie and his wife Natalie are members of BYU-Hawaii's Presidents' Leadership Council (PLC).

He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fortaleza, Brazil and speaks fluent Portuguese.

Most importantly, Richie is happily married to Natalie and has three boys. Richie graduated from BYU-Hawaii in International Business Management and resides on the North Shore of Oahu.
