Richard Huffine’s Summary
My expertise is in strategic planning and high-level administration of information services in the government sector. I coordinate activities in library and information services, information delivery, knowledge management and the emerging field of knowledge services.
My interests include taxonomies and metadata services and the implementation of semantic technologies to facilitate knowledge-sharing and information services in large organizations. My primary goal is to ensure that the support provided to organizations through traditional libraries remains relevant to current operations. I am working to ensure that the transformation of walk-in library services to digital services retains the best of what libraries offer their organizations.
