Richard Heim’s Summary

It's all about the data. The best business application in the world is essentially useless if you can't access and report on the data it ultimately collects. For over 15 years my focus has been specifically on data, starting out building data entry, screen scraping and imaging applications in COBOL on an AS/400 platform, up through end-to-end design and implementation of DB2, Oracle & MS SQL Server Data Warehouses, and most things in between. Data is the lifeblood of any system and I do transfusions, bypasses, angioplasty, boosting, and sometimes open-heart surgery.
