Richard Fitzpatrick’s Experience

    2005Present (4 years )

The most rewarding part of my work is watching the changes in a patient’s self-esteem and happiness when I improve aging, scarring, hair loss or whatever the problem may be. I enjoy cosmetic dermatology because today we have so many options for treatment that are both effective and safe. Each time I meet new patients, I am interested to find out what their goals and expectations are for their particular concern. When I founded the Dermatology Division with LJCSC Medical Director, R. Merrel Olesen, MD, it was an unusual combination of specialties. Combining Dermatology and Plastic Surgery in one practice provides unique benefits for our patients. With more options in our armentarium, our advice to patients is based on a much boarder group of surgical and non-surgical options.
