Examined incoming forms 1040,1040x, ez and 1120S. Edited captions, income entries, dependents, deductions, routing instructions, and verified signitures of taxpayer(s). Examined attached Schedules (such as "E") making sure rows , extentions were correct. If no Schedule was present as part of the task the Tax Editor takes a blank schedule and edits information found else where on the return.. Its amazing that it works! The Best Tax examiner in our group of 20 could do with 98% accuracy around 105 returns per hour as I recall. The experience at the IRS made me really respect how the flow of the returns could be complete pretty much by June 15 .

What also comes with this chore of which most don't think about is when you move walls or cubes...... your moving voice, data & electrical connections, sprinkler heads, fire pull stations, and other important building life safety items. Let alone to mention proper adjusted lighting, ventalation, and acoustics.
