After graduating, Riccardo gained experience in the Information Technology area working on research projects within the University of Padua. In particular, he developed
1.An adaptive compression algorithm for video surveillance systems.
2.A software for the speed and RPM estimation of a motorcycle passing in front of a microphone (in collaboration with Aprilia).
Afterward he won the Fulbright-BEST (Business Exchange and Student Training) scholarship, so he spent six months studying Entrepreneurship and Business Administration at the Santa Clara University (California, USA). Moreover he interned for MobClix, a Silicon Valley start-up that helps iPhone app developers grow their business. In particular he worked as Account Manager, iPhone Application Trend Analyst and Social Media Analyst.

The program is funded by the Fulbright-BEST (Business Exchange and Student Training) grant; in particular, it is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and it is part of the “Partnership for Growth” program, an initiative of the U.S. Embassy in Italy that seeks to foster economic entrepreneurship in Italy (www.buyusa.gov/italy/en/p4g.html).
The program is made up of courses in Entrepreneurship and Management at the Leavey School of Business and networking events with Silicon Valley's entrepreneurs and investors.
