Real Estate Barcamp Los Angeles is an un-conference that is dedicated to helping people understand the world of social media and it's application to business. Attendees learned, collaborated and shared new ideas on things like blogging, video-blogging, social networking for business in real estate, affiliate marketing and more.
Organizing this event taught me how to organize, market, and raise funds for a conference.

I'm a Social Media Consultant with The Real Estate Tomato. Since 2006 I've been connecting with and converting contacts into full-time business using nothing but social media outlets. I now help small businesses outline and execute their social media strategy to attract clients, build a better brand, and create raving fans.
I began experimenting with social media in 2006. As a loan originator I needed a way to easily and affordably reach my market. Blogging and other social networking tools allowed me to become a favored authority and effectively differentiate himself from the competition within my community.
The question always arises, “does social media really work?” The answer is an undeniable “Yes."
At the Real Estate Tomato, we design custom blogsites for our clients and coach them on adopting social media for their business.
