Ricardo A. Reis, CBRP, CORS’s Summary

Assuming that a systemic view strongly based on standards and international best practices like ISO9001, ISO14000, BS7799, BS 25999, ITIL and PMBOK is clearly essential to provide the institutions an effective and appropriate response to business demands, my interests are:

* Improve competitivity using a better approach for risk management programs, evolving to better management of resource and greater delivery capability.

* Improve competitivity through the management of intellectual capital, using system of knowledge management, focused on productivity and business strategy.

Resuming, I have over 10 years experience in IT, directly in functions such as Support, Recovery Planning and Infrastructure, and as Independent Consultant (Business Continuity and Open Source).

I started my career in 1997, working with Unix systems and Unix-like (BSD, Linux, Solaris and AIX), including knowledge in several programming languages (Shell Script (sh, bash, ksh), Perl, Python, Makefile).

For some years, was responsible for treating and managing the CSIRT of a large and complex group of University Hospitals, the SPDM (Paulista Society for Medical Development) allowed me insight into the Risk and Crisis Management for Information Security (DDOS, BotNet's, Mass Defacement, Critical Patch Update, Virus).

And now, I would like to expand my network with others consultants, professionals and entrepreneurs interested in shared opportunities and business partnerships.

You can reach my email and references in my LinkedIn profile, if you have any questions or would like to discuss any opportunities further.

My perspective to goals for the next two years:

* Finish my Masters with a focus on Corporate Sustainability - ISO 26000.

* Consolidate my experience in Risk, Continuity and Projects Management.
