After my first year, I decided to branch out and succeeded in getting published weekly in twelve newspapers stretching from The Daily Collegian in Massachusetts to Ka Leo O Hawaii in Hawaii. At it's height the comic-strip was running 875,000 copies per week. Networking with a dozen publishers on a daily basis made for great experience.
