Rhett Dashwood is a Creative Director with experience in multimedia, web, animation, branding and digital art. For over six years he has been working on various online projects, CD-ROM titles, motion graphic, print and branding works.
After receiving an Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) student award in 1998, he continued onto the next two years as Senior Designer at Eclipse Group Melbourne catering to the multimedia needs of many blue chip corporations. In 2000 Rhett moved to London UK working on various independent and commercial projects with companies ranging from fashion, photography, and music to Microsoft games and Yahoo!. Year 2003 saw his return to Australia, becoming a designer at the eminent, and Australias largest design firm EmeryFrost. He is currently a self employed Creative Director of Wade Studios residing in Melbourne.
Some recent works and works of note include the following: Yahoo! Upcoming redesigns, Yellow Pages Online redesign, CitySearch.com.au redesign, Virgin Money Online Campaign, Triple M re-branding, Pentridge Piazza Identity, Microsoft Games Websites.
As a member of the creative industry, Rhett has presented at Federation Square and has been featured in various publications including Desktop, Artichoke, Photography International and Inside Magazine. Rhett is also the founder of Heavy Backpack, an online resource of the best creative works in art, design and moving image.
